Welcome to the Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake Race for Kids page!

The Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake has been providing services for children, youth, and families since 1996. We are a dynamic organization dedicated to serving our community with quality programs and services. Through a variety of programs for children and youth aged 7 to 18, we connect with the community of Williams Lake. We really care about the kids in our community and we want them to know that we can offer help, support, encouragement, and kindness through a variety of services.

We currently offer 10 programs for children and youth in grades 1 to 12:

  • 'The KidZone' - After School Program (ages 7-12) - $10/day
  • 'The KidZone' - Summer Day Camp (ages 7-12) - $20/day
  • Seasonal Mountain Biking (ages 7-18) - FREE
  • Seasonal Baseball (7-12) - FREE

Why Participate in Race for Kids™ in Williams Lake?

Over the years, we have worked hard to get to know the young people in our community. We know what makes them tick, what interests them and what issues they are facing. With that in mind, we then attempt to offer the right programming to meet their needs. We know we can’t do it alone and we rely heavily on community support to help continue our work. That’s where you come in!

By participating in this year’s Race for Kids™, you will be an important part of helping our Club move forward. Funds raised will go directly back into the Williams Lake community so that we can continue offering the types of programs our young people need the most.

Interesting facts about the Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake:

  • All of our programs, with the exception of the 'KidZone', are free of charge
  • We have a policy that no child is turned away from the KidZone due to the family's inability to pay
  • On top of all of our programs, we also serve the community through special events for families, youth, and children. These include: Youth Week Activities (May 1-7), our annual Family Street Party, our annual Haunted House, and more!
  • In 2015 we served 500 children and youth in our programs and another 1000 people through our community events
  • In 2015 we served 1700 meals and 4300 snacks to children and youth in our community.
